The Secret Garden

My garden is a place of beauty, peace, and reflection—a sanctuary where I can slow down, meditate, and reconnect with what matters. The Secret Garden is my artistic response to that experience, created from a deep love of nature and a desire to transform its beauty into glass.

Through this work, I find a sense of healing, joy, and renewed passion. I “paint with glass,” building each flower by hand and adding whimsical details such as ladybugs for good luck and bees to symbolize abundance. My hope is that these small treasures invite the viewer to pause, discover, and find their own moment of joy.

Created with Oceanside glass and a specially developed palette of frits that I melt together to create the rich colors and layered details of the flowers, this large platter is fired twice—first to create and fuse the glass elements, and again to carefully shape the finished piece.

The Secret Garden is a celebration of nature, color, and the quiet beauty found in the garden. My passion is creating glass art that connects with people, and I hope this piece brings a little of that wonder, joy, and beauty into your home.
