Grateful Sculpture

I created Grateful as a reminder to myself, and to others, to notice and appreciate the little things that make life so beautiful. It’s easy to get caught up in everything we have to do and forget to pause and simply be thankful—to appreciate a beautiful morning, a garden in bloom, a ray of sunshine, a good conversation, or the people we love.

For me, gratitude is about recognizing how lucky we are to be here and choosing to look for the beauty in our everyday lives. Even on the difficult days, there is often something small to be grateful for. I believe that when we make gratitude a part of our daily lives, it can change the way we see the world and bring more positivity, joy, and contentment into our hearts.

I hope Grateful serves as a little daily reminder to pause, look around, and appreciate all that life has given us.

Each sculpture is lovingly handmade in my studio using Oceanside or Bullseye glass. Every letter is carefully hand-cut, shaped, and kiln-fired, then combined with my signature hand-pulled glass flowers and delicate garden-inspired details. No two pieces are exactly alike, making each Grateful sculpture a unique work of art.
