Helen graduated from the Alberta College of Art and Design and attended work shops at Pratt Fine Art Center and Pilchuk Glass School and taught glass workshops for continuing education in Calagry and Vernon . Helen has been working with a variety of techniques in glass art for over 30 years, including glass and steel, sculptures to furniture, jewelry, glass beads, keepsake beads that have a loved ones ashes melted in between layers of glass, fused glass, cast glass and flame worked glass. Her work can be found in the permanent collections of the Biot Glass Museum in Biot, France, The Alberta Craft Council in Edmonton Alberta and many private collections internationally. Her works have been featured in several publications and media over the years. Helen owns and operates Red Dog Glass Studio and the Cherryville Artisans Shop. Helen has moved Cherryville Artisans Shop into her new studio and gallery so everything is under one roof at Red Dog Glass Studio, 82 Beaven rd, Cherryville, BC V0E 2G3
. Helen also offers glass workshops for all ages. She has helped to promote and develop local arts and culture since 2001 in Cherryville BC.
